Deposits:

• Deposits are required for all bookings and no date will be secured until a deposit has been received. 

• All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Rescheduling a booking without 7 days notice will forfeit your deposit and you will have to pay another deposit before securing the following booking. 

Designs:

• Please ensure all necessary information is given during the initial emails, as large changes to designs will cause a reschedule and your deposit forfeited.

• If you do not feel like you can explain your tattoo idea in email, we can set up an in-person consultation. These are free but require a deposit on the day to book in the date of the tattoo. This will often be the case for full sleeves or larger continuing pieces.

• If you wish to change your design idea after the booking is made, we reserve the right to decline your booking.

Rates: 

• There is a minimum set up charge of $100, the balance will depend on the artist and size of the piece you would like to have done. Depending on the artist day rates are capped and vary from $800 TO $1500.

• Day rates are any bookings over 8 hours, this includes a lunch break for you and the artist.

• If you book for a day rate and the piece takes less than 8 hours, you will only pay for the time taken. 

• We will generally not tattoo for longer than 8 hours. 

Preparing for your Booking:

• Please make sure you have a good night’s sleep and a solid breakfast. 

• Avoid alcohol and non-prescription drugs. 

• Avoid sun damage the week before, as you cannot get tattooed if you are sunburnt. 

• If possible moisturise the area for a week before the booking, as soft skin is conducive to successful tattoos.

The Day of your Booking:

• Come to the booking clean, with clothes appropriate for the area being tattooed.

• We are happy for the use of numbing creams and sprays. We strongly suggest the use of Cry Baby or Numb It. TKTX products can have a chance to compromise the healing of your new tattoo.

• Please arrive on time. If you are late, it could impede on another person’s session that day, so you have to reschedule and forfeit your deposit. 

• There is on street parking on Centre Road and down side streets, however we recommend parking at Bentleigh Train station as it has free all day parking and is just a short walk from the shop. 

•  Stay hydrated during the booking and feel free to bring food/snacks if it’s a longer session.
